Boulder's oldest doo-wop group?

DeCantors is a six voice a cappella group doing old and new doo-wop music. They claim to be Boulder's oldest doo-wop singing group. They might not have been around the longest, but they have the most decrepit members!

The group originated in Boulder, Colorado in 1988 as a practical joke for a friend's wedding reception. DeCantors failed miserably at the first annual Denver Regional Harmony Sweepstakes in 1990. The following year they actually rehearsed and did much better. Since then they have performed at the Boulder Theatre, Steamboat Springs' Art in the Park festival, and of course, the Pearl Street Mall. They now know all of the words to Duke of Earl 1:19 1049KB MP3 , So In Love, and many other old favorites. Boulderites have reported sighting Elvis with DeCantors.

You can also hear the members of DeCantors with the Ars Nova Singers, who suffer the guys' presence in spite of their association with this less respectable group.

DeCantors will crash your private party, reunion, or other function and entertain your guests until you pay them to leave. Call Don at 303-443-5251 for details.
