Electronic Mail

There appear to be a great number of advertisers on the Internet who extract e-mail addresses from web pages and send unsolicited solicitations.  These people must believe that their time is too valuable to write personally, but that their potential customers' time is worthless.  I think junk e-mail is worse than paper junk mail.  Although it avoids consuming forest products, it forces the recipient to pay for the connect time to get it.  I hope none of my dear readers will patronize these businesses.

Many of the advertisers have addresses to which one can write to be removed from their mailing lists.  Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that they will actually do that.  In fact, writing to them gives them something you don't want them to have: the knowledge that they got your address right, and that a person received and read their message.

In an attempt to stem the tide of junk e-mail, I have eliminated the mailto: links from all of my web pages.  If your browser has JavaScript enabled, you can simply click on the link below.

Otherwise, you can send mail to Lou at Cybox dot Com.  Substitute the usual punctuation marks for at and dot.  Use no other punctuation marks nor any spaces.

I apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for your indulgence.
