PictureCube
by Rick Hyman
Freeware for OS X.
For Mac OS 10.3.9 and later, PictureCube displays up to six different pictures from a folder specified by the user. Pictures being displayed are randomly selected from a folder chosen by the user. The cube itself can be visible or invisible, and will be of a size and will rotate at a speed specified by the user. The background is very dark gray.
When installed, PictureCube becomes a pane within the Desktop & Screen Saver System Preference. Options allow the user to choose the folder of pictures, the distance from cube to the viewer, and the speed. Speeds can go from very slow to dizzying. Distance can range from very far to inside the cube
